Wich program do ESPN mixers use?

I was wondering wich program ESPN mixers use. Cuz for example at the beginning of the 2005-2006 mix with dunk, dishes, defense...

One of my friend's dad who is a professional director uses Avid like you said and he told me that it is widely used in the editing industry.

Avid & FCP are the 2 most used professional video editing programs.

My best guess would be that they probably used FCP with Shake, Motion or AE for the Motion Graphic elements.

the point is not wich programe to use , its the footage !!! you cant make a espn 3d mix of the year with footage ripped from a game diffusion .
