Twins pitcher Scott Baker just did it. Starter Scott Baker struck out four in the third inning of Sunday’s game with the Milwaukee Brewers, becoming the first Twins pitcher to accomplish the feat.

let me guess he threw a strikeout and catcher missed it so he ran to first. which game him the shot at 4. but technically thats not a strikeout then

that's what happened..BUT technically it is a strikeout. It gets logged in the books as a 4 strikeout inning

Yeah, you actually get a strikeout when that happens. My friend and I were talking about how it's possible to average more than three strikeouts an inning.

It's always cool to see this kind of stuff happens. The last time it happened was in 2006 when Brad Penny pitched for the Dodgers.

Three strikes on a batter means it's a strikeout, that's the definition, it's technically a strikeout you can't argue it.

lol! thats hilarious; it happens in the the rec leagues we play in all the time, but in the majors? thats impressive lol although its not good a strikeout went for a wild pitch lol
