Exclamation SR's MLB Power Rankings

Let me know what you think. Any comments/thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.

1. Chicago Cubs-Best record in the majors. They have the total package on offense and pitching.
2. Boston Red Sox-One of the best teams when it comes to playing at home. They are heating up as they won 2 in a row, 7-3 past 10.
3. Los Angeles Angels-The pitching of Saunders, Santana, and Lackey have been helping this team out tremendously. K-Rod is one of the best closers in the game who is total domination. Vlad is heating is up as well.
4. Tampa Bay Rays-I didn't see this coming at all. They are playing lights out baseball right now. The young players are stepping up in big ways. I'll be astounded if they can keep this streak throughout the season.
5. Philadelphia Phillies-Offense, offense, and offense. I went to see the Phillies vs Cards game last week and what an amazing performance by Phillies offense. They beat the Cards 21-2 and Utley, Rollins, and Howard are AMAZING.
6. Chicago White Sox-The pitching/bullpen have really stepped up for them. Vasquez, Contreras, Floyd, and Mark have been hughe for them. The offense is kind of inconsistent, but pitching/bullpen makes up for them.
7. St. Louis Cardinals-Some surprising names have stepped up for them when needed too like Ryan Ludwick. He has had an amazing season so far.
8. New York Yankees-They are playing great right now as they have won 6 in a row, 8-2 in the past 10. A Rod is on FIRE.
9. Oakland A's-Justin is having a great season pitching. They don't have any big names, but get the job done as a team in the end with a victory.
10. Milwaukee Brewers-With Braun/Prince leading the way on offense and Sheets pitching, this a team that needs to be watched out for in the fall.

On the bubble-Florida Marlins

I would keep Detroit Tigers on the bubble because in a month or so, they will be up there.

I'm not so sure bout putting the Brewers over the Marlins, when you look at their rosters on paper the Marlins should be much worse.

Re: SR's MLB Power Rankings

As expected to happen, Tigers are red hot right now...8-2 in the past 10 games. The offense is ridiculous. The pitching is a question mark for me though.

Right now, Brewers and Marlins have the same record. Both have young ball clubs, but Marlins are too inexperienced IMO. Brewers learned from last year meltdown and are more "ready" this year.

Cubs shouldn't be near first, probably top 5 but not first.

You do realize I made this thread couple weeks ago? I would probably put the Cubs in 3rd right now with the Rays being 1st and the Angels being 2nd.
