JOSH HAMILTON

He hit the back billboards I never have seen that in my life and I've been watching Yankee games forever..

Re: Who will win the 2008 HR Derby?

Josh Hamilton just made a name for himself at Yankee Stadium.
28 Home Runs in the first round with a 71 year-old pitcher, in-fuckin-credible!

I can't believe Hamilton lost. Congratz to Mornaeu on winning the HR derby. I would have never expected him to win considering he has only 14ish HR's this season (1st or 2nd least for participants)

Werd. But, I don't like the "clean slate" rule they have for the final round. You should award the man with the most homeruns. Hamilton flat out put on a show in that first round, breaking three distant records and having the 3rd longest homerun in HRD history. Then he broke the record for most home runs in a round in that first round with 28. And he made a great gesture having his long time pitching coach (71 years old) pitch for him for only his second appearence at yankee stadium.. I think Hamilton was the deserving winner of this HomeRun Derby.. it's a shame to see him walk away with nothing but a story to tell..

That's why you need to pace yourself at some point, hitting out 28 bombs is tiring as hell.
