Manny Ramirez's stormy relationship with the Boston Red Sox appears to be over.

A baseball source has confirmed Ramirez has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers, ESPN.com has learned.

Jason Bay is going to Boston as part of the deal. And the Pittsburgh Pirates get four minor leaguers as part of the three-way deal.

After all these years of Manny being Manny in Boston, his time is finally over. We all knew it was coming sooner or later.

Awesome move by the Red Sox, we get a player who is 6 years younger and will produce better than will for the rest of this season. The guy is talented, but he's never had a great lineup around him. He's going to hit 6th so he will be able to rack up a whole bunch of RBI's. Red Sox will probably let him run a lot too. Theo Epstein for President!

Good trade for each team. I don't know much about the prospects Pitt got, but I'm assuming they're somewhat decent since they gave up Bay who is pretty damn good and obviously they're in rebuilding mode since they give up Marte/Nady earlier as well. Manny and Theo didn't mesh very well in Boston in these past couple months from what I hear. Bay is only 29 years old and is a solid player. He doesn't have any attitude problems/great teammate. He should be ecstatic since he's finally playing for a championship contending team. The Dodgers offense is terrible right now and Manny should give them a huge boost. He's a RBI machine, hopefully his attitude doesn't hurt their team chemistry. The Dodgers may have a chance to win NL West now since it's so terrible.

Good for the Red Sox because they lose Manny who had our Front Office in a frenzy, and we got a hitter who is 6 years younger. Also, Manny was not going to sign with us after this year, and Jason Bay still has another year with us after this season.

Good for the Dodgers because they got Manny and are now legit contenders for the World Series.

Good for the Pirates because they got some good prospects.
