^ Yeh all this stuff going on at once is really tough for the organization to deal with
Season started out bad with injuries and it continues to get worse...

It's been rough going for the angels away from home, we went 1-5 on the last roadtrip

I really hope we can bounce back on this upcoming 6 game homestand
It'll be good for the players to be back home in front of the fans

yeh times are a bit tough for the angels right now but i really hope they can get back to winning against the tigers and mariners, both of them have been pretty good so far this season so angels will have to step up but i think the home crowd will get them through these next 6 games and bring back a bit of life to the players

Well, they won today, and the bullpen pitched effectively. The last pitch by Fuentes was nasty as hell. Gary Matthews Jr. with the go ahead rbi in the 8th. Hopefully they can keep it going.

Scott shields got roughed up tonight gave up 2 H, 2 BB, 4 R, didn't get a single out and we lost by 2 runs

He's been pretty reliable his career with the Angels but this year he's been roughed up a couple times already

Hopefully he can return to form soon, he's really important to this team's success

Good win tonight, the bullpen flirted with us that they still sucked, but Bulger and Speier came through with the goods. Our offense is also turning it up again, and it's good getting a series win.

Very impressed with Matt Palmer, no one expected him to pitch that well. Despite the earned runs... which could be less if Chone didn't give up that error, he retired 12 Tigers in a row. That in itself is a good thing.

i saw a tiny bit of the game and i thought Angels might have lost it when that dude fked up in the 7th (i think) when he missed the ball and Tigers made an easy 2 runs. whats that 2-1 in the series?.....noice

First back to back wins for the Angels this season =\

Too bad it wont last until the starting rotation gets healthy. Lackey and Santana are almost ready for minor league games, and should be back within a two to three weeks. Escobar should be back around June, Oliver, Jepsen and Moseley are eligible to be back in about a week. Vlad is still out for a while, but he is starting to resume baseball activities. Being injured is lame.

3 game winning streak. getting closer to .500
Loux 6 IP-5H-1 ER, we really need him to pitch like he did tonight

but now we are heading into New York to face the Yankees in a 4 game trip with our youngest pitcher - Anthony Ortega pitching in the first game. Could get ugly

I can't say this about last nights game but Yankees are famous for getting owned by young/rookie pitchers for some reason. Plus we always have trouble with the Angels..I don't know why but we do. I see a series split.

Jered Weaver pitched 7 strong innings tonight and we led 3-1 going to the 8th
than our bullpen blew it and we end up losing 4-3 to red sox

we had won 7 of last 8 till tonight's tough loss..bullpen has been very disappointing this season

hopefully we can bounce back tomorrow
