I haven't seen it since it hasn't come out here yet but since it's contains Sam Rockwell and a music from Clint Mansell I very much look forward to see it!

Seems a lot like 2001 Space Odyssey to me from the trailer but still it seems like a well made movie so I'll give it a look when it gets here.

^^^ That was exactly my impression, especially with the final scene in the trailer where the camera is scrolling down with the moon and earth centralised in an identical manner to what kubric used throughout space oddesey.

Im not convinced rockwell can carry this movie by himself, it seems as though theres not gonna be much dialogue, i suppose at least its not will smith.

Guess what, it came here! I watched it last night at the movies and it was pretty good. Not any masterpiece but a very enjoyable and decent watch. I liked the fact that the script didn't use the usual easy routes of a space movie but instead chose a fresh perspective to the whole theme.

Well done, oh and the Clint Mansell OST was once again fiyah!

Without Sam Rockwell, this would have been dull and uninteresting. With Sam Rockwell, it's easily in my top 10 of 2009.

In other words, you rank a movie in your top10 of the year despite not liking it as a plot but on the actor's play alone?
