While it looks great, it definitely follows the Toy Story formula. I haven't seen the first two in years but would welcome the end of the trilogy with open arms, so long as they don't go for a Toy Story 4.
Unfortunately, I hear that one of Pixar's next releases is Cars 2...Cars was imo, the worst Pixar film. Let's hope if they do anymore sequels they will go with The Incredibles or Monsters Inc (i loved Nemo but there's no sequel that would make sense)
