^Exactly, most people apart from Lars Ulrich, Glen Danzig and a handful of others, most persons in metal are pretty down to earth.

I personally think they are or more talented on an instrumental note too.

obviously haha i can make beats... not good but i can... i can not make a heavy metal song... thats insane, try to drum like the cannibal corpse drummer, or play guitar like decapitated, its impossible, i love hiphop, but they have huge egos for the little talent that they have, basically rhyming and puttin word together dope.... (the good emcees at least)

I play guitar, not very good, but I can play some easier metal. I can play some easier stuff from In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Rammstein, Megadeth and a few others.

I dont like the large ego's associated with Hip Hop / Rap. Many of them thing themselves superior to ever other living being. Musically wise, its quite basic, the only skill is Rhyming, which can be hard to do, but so much of it is the same, about ho's, etc. etc.

Some people will say **** about metals vocals, but a lot are very hard to perfect, and perform as it is very demanding and sensitive parts inside your body, and the music aspect is a lot harder than most types of music, takes years and years to play a Solo from the great guitar players, or drummers or whatever.

I like George Kollias and Tim Yueng on drums, they are so amazing to watch

i was vocals in a "comedy" metal band, like a slipknot spoof... and my voice was gone in a week... its real tough haha

WTF so everyone that listens to metal here only goes for the brutal type like Necrophagia and that sh1t? Start listening to some good metal people, bands like Anathema (back when they were going hard at it), Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Thrice that sort of stuff.

And yeah I do like my metal to have a bit of hardcore/nu metal in it.
