lol I wasn't anywhere close with the James Blunt guess, but it was just a blunt guess (oh the humor). But yeah I know The Streets a little bit, but they don't really sing, so it's doesn't really fit this topic perfectly.. but yeah that dude got a fairly strong british accent going on.

Mike Skinner was the first guy that came to my mind when I read your post but I couldn't figure out what song you were talking about. He's about the most british accent-ish person you're gonna meet in music.

That's something interesting to find out. I was on Wikipedia the other night in the British accent section, it was kinda cool to read. I do impersonations of the accents, but it's always such a mix of what I've heard, I think it's great how people from different regions have such distinct accents.

I definitely love the Northern accents then, the glossed-over stuff we hear here on the radio isn't exactly my cup of tea, I really like what the Arctic Monkeys put out though, I'm a big fan of their stuff. Does It Offend You, Yeah? too, they're my favorite music right now, not sure if they really count though for the amount of actual singing they do.
