T.I. sentenced to jail for 1 year and 1 day

Rapper T.I was sentenced to jail for one year and one day this morning in Atlanta.

The three-time Grammy winner was arrested in 2007 hours before the B.E.T. awards, and later charged with possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) was also ordered to pay $100,300 in fines.

He has between 30 to 60 days to check into prison.

if you're wondering, if a judge gave him just one year you can go to a lower level security prison, but anything over a year is maximum security. That's the reason why they added an extra day.
