Because with all due respect my brother, you dont have an argument to hold up.

No disrespect but you're all over the place. First you say Rakim can say what he wants as if that validates the fact that Nas said to his face how he put the track together from information already outthere, to which as you can see in that MTV article's video Rakim gets all quiet and even gives Nas a dap and hug on some "thank you for the love brother".
Then you say Nas' is a punk like that somehow has something to do with the issue at hand, but rather can be turned around to highlight Rakim's inability to put an album out for a decade despite working with the best producer in Hip-Hop.

And finally you throw some half-assed Ricky Davis type shot that Nas being in Mansions somehow devolves him of credibility and used a trite 4 year interview of Cormega talking about Nas (a guy who despite saying he wants nothing to do with Nas, keeps talking about him and turned up at the drop of a hot as soon as Nas invited him to a show)

Look I know you mean well fam, but the evidence is there in that MTV interview. Any normal person once he meets someone and they explain there actions is like "Cool, thanks for explainig that, this is my feelings on it but you kept 100, lets move on..". Rakim ultimatley did himself a disservice in the original video and he clearly knew that by giving a half-assed explinations on his feelings about the record, would generate some buzz from his album.

I believe that without Rakim there would be no Nas, no modern day Hip Hop thats why i said Ra could do whatever he wants but that's just IMO. And truly his last four were garbage, really.

Why are you still talking.. you really want him to flood this thread with double digit youtube clips? And either way, God's Son was full of great tracks, classics IMO.

No one's denying Rakim is the architect to Nas , but that doesnt mean he can say whatever he wants without actually using his brain. I mean if he was half-smart he should be able to remember sitting with Nas 3 years ago and him telling him what happened.

And saying Nas last 4 albums is personal opinion rather than fact. They got good reviews and most people think there dope. Some might argue with the beats he picked which has been an issue since God Son but they're not horrid beats at all. More importantly he hasnt fallen off with the rhyming. Go back and listenedto the albums and you'll probably feel them. I cant imagine you not feeling Untitled and Hip Hop is Dead and we can go through the tracks.

I mean at least Nas has put stuff out. When was the last time Rakim put out a good album....1990 with Don't Sweat the Technique? If he can do whatever he wants, was it in his plans to have his album delayed and get dropped by Aftermath?

If you could tell me why that would be relevant to you saying Nas' last 4 albums sucked and you being proven wrong?
You don't have to prove anything about Rakim to me, I'm a fan myself but you are just being ridiculous.
