If you said this a few months ago, I would say that he's not underrated at all, but he's been finishing so strong lately. You see a lot of pick and rolls with him where he just catches it and flies up to the rim and throws it down strong, when a while ago those would have been missed finger rolls.

He's been playing exactly like the Lakers have needed him to lately. Hopefully it stays that way and he doesn't go back to the old Odom.

yeah he is pretty underrated, hes one of the most versatile players in the league. He can do a lot at his size.

he was only inconsistent because hes not comfortable being the second option....hes stil the same player hes always been...having gasol just makes it easier for him...most laker fans are just fake...cant even count how many "fans" were bashing him for the past 2 yrs

Anyway... Not all of us hated Odom. I always said he was average as a 2nd option, but a perfect 3rd option for us, and has proven that. The addition of Pau Gasol has allowed him to finally blossom into the player we've wanted him to be all along.

You dont have to be a fan of the Spurs or Boston to have an opinion and speak it.

And yeah most of you Laker fans were saying how bad he was just a few months ago. And lets face it, he hasnt improved ALL that much. Just when you are winning, everybody is in an overal better mood/more optimistic.

EVERYONE says he is underrated... kinda like Bosh. And when they say he is underrated enough, then hes not underrated. He gets a lot of credit just not media hype. Big deal... same with Nash. But he ain't underrated.

I call it as I see it. He was Lamar Scrotum to me for the longest. Dumbest ****. Inconsistent. Now he knows how to play and is one of our most consistent players.
