Yup. Lorenzen Wright will help keep LeBron James from leaving Cleveland in 2 years.

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure Ricky Davis will drive the Clippers to the Playoffs.

The difference is, he will actually help.

Umm, no not Ricky Davis alone. But the other additions of Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, Jason Williams, and Eric Gordon certainly will help in doing so.

I'm happy with the moves that the Clippers made because they were smart and plentiful. It ain't my fault Danny Ferry is a moron and the best thing he did for the Cavs all summer is sign a blackhole of a PG and a dinosaur of a backup backup center.

The only thing saving Danny Ferry from getting fired is LeBron's brilliance. But by 2010, Ferry and LeBron may be gone.

Yeah, the Clippers lost their 2 best players and got Baron Davis and a pack with players that once had a name, but now are just average contributors.WOW. Keeping waiting to see how productive Camby will be in a team like LA.

Our chances of getting a championship (what really matters) are way better than Clippers, so we don't need to change much. Keep fighting (struggling) to get the 8th place though.

"The Start of a Revolution"...Hahaha what a joke.

To be honest you have the exact same chances we have of getting a championship. That's 0% for both of us in case you didn't get it.

Who said anything about championship? I'm talking this offseason. Your sig and your posts imply you believe Ferry has done a great job this offseason which is completely ludicrous.

Let's look at some of his moves:

Mo Williams for Damon Jones and Joe Smith - looks good on paper, but Mo is a BALLHOG in all caps. The guy is not the type you want playing with arguably the best offensive weapon in the league.
Signed Tarence Kinsey - Ok move, but really does nothing in a 2/3 heavy roster
Resigned Boobie - Obvious move
Hickson & Jackson - Haven't seen much of Hickson, but Jackson can be good for 15 mpg off the bench. Still, he's nothing more than a mediocre player if that
Signed Lorenzen Wright - So.... this is the move you're defending here?

Like I said, Ferry's job is saved only by LeBron, and so are the Cavs. The only reason they would make the playoffs and likely survive a few rounds is due to LeBron and a relatively weak (but getting stronger) Eastern Conference.

You thinking Ferry has actually done a good job is a joke. The guy has done basically nothing to put talent around the league's best young prospect in LeBron. What has he done to help LeBron in the past few years? Add guys who are overpaid and over-the-hill? Ben Wallace? Larry Hughes? Donyell Marshall? Wally Szczerbiak? No, no, you're right. Ferry has been fantastic. The Cavs have the league's 2nd highest payroll and STILL don't have a consistent #2 option behind LeBron.

Congrats to Ferry and the Cavs to another Eastern Conference Semifinals exit this year. You better start praying Ferry gets fired soon or LeBron will be learning Italian in between flights next season.
