I'm a fan of both teams but some points were just ridiculous. If Kobe were indeed better than MJ he would have adjusted to the "Kobe Rules". It'll be interesting to see how Kobe plays this season against them.

I do see the point he made in bench distractions...i was actually very surprised to see it. Was the Laker bench doing that as well?

Most of the video just came off as a pathetic whine that the Lakers got cheated. That was in June! This is October! Shouldn't he be focusing on the upcoming season...Christ he's worse than Cubs fans.

Alborz although controversial makes some very interesting points, and say what u want about him he is the truth. After watching this compilation I don't think his artistic merit and integrity can ever be matched, or questioned. He's very dedicated in his work, and although many choose to easy way out and say "MJ is the best ever," he will fight to the end to prove his point, you gotta love that about him, he doesn't go down easy if at all.

With that said hes been blamed for some bias statements, and this video has a few false points that he fails to address, and Im not fully convinced hes experienced the entire Jordan era to make comparisons of the type of defenses they've been playing. A better video would have been clips from Jordan's finals games and comparing them to these.

Most people are angry at him because he chooses to go against their beliefs in MJ being the best. But can you really hate him for that?

Dont need to watch it to know Kobe did squat against Bostons defense last seasons. That video did a great job of showing why Bostons defense is impossible to beat unless you are willing to pass the rock. It was intended as an excuse as to why Kobe struggled against Boston but all it really did was show how awesome Bostons defense really is. It stated that Boston played dirty. Hello...these are the NBA finals and they have always been a rough, tough brand of basketball that finesse players tend to struggle in. No lay ups. That has always been the case in the post season for the 30+ years I have been watching the NBA. The guy did a great job of breaking down Bostons "exotic zone" defense. He attempted to say that Kobe is better then Jordan because Jordan never faced anything like the D Boston plays. Sorry...no sale. Jordan would have found a way to make a positive impact. Kobe has no tricks in his bag if he isn't scoring. Kobe was down right horrible against Boston in 2 regular season and 6 finals games yet the blame for their upset loss in the finals went to everyone but Kobe because the folks at BSPN have hyped Kobe so much they refuse to admit they are the ones who have overrated him to start with. He's an awesome scorer and NOTHING beyond that. He couldn't defend either Pierce or Ray Allen and that also was a huge factor in LA losing because their defense broke down once Boston started moving the ball around due to all of the help they were running at KG, Pierce and Allen. Isn't he supposed to be an All-defensive team player? Give me a break. OVERRATED. If Kobe had been capable of locking down either Pierce OR Allen(who both averaged 20+ ppg) or even somewhat containing either of them the Laker's may have won that series. He couldn't even slow either one of them down forcing Jackson to put him on Rondo who also managed to light up Kobe in game 6....a 30+ point loss in the deciding game of the entire season. I've seen alot of Superstars get gifted All-defensive team mention over the years who didn't deserve it but Kobe showed me knothing to warrent such concideration in the biggest games of his careeer. He was completely contained on offense and unable to impact the game on defense either. He doesn't pass much to anyone and he forces alot of shots when teams throw great defense at him. You wonder why they lost? Best player in the NBA. Hogwash. There are quite a few guys in the NBA today who can still be a major factor in any game even if they are struggling to score. Kobe isn't one of them by any stretch of the imagination.

Boston owned Kobe Bryant last season. The numbers speak for themselves.

2 regular seasons games: 46 FGA 15 FGM .326 FG%
6 finals games: 131 FGA 53 FGM .405 FG%

He also hit only 12 of 41 3pt attempts hitting a pathetic 29.2% fro mthe 3pt arch in 8 games against Boston.

In 8 games against Boston last year Kobe FG% was a horrible 36.1%. He also averaged a rather poor 4.5 assists per game against Boston. For a guy who has the ball every single trip down the floor that is a down right pathetic number especially since he obvously wasn't hitting his shots either. If he isn't scoring consistantly and he isn't passing much at all what exactly is he doing on offense with all of those touches?



This also shows why Kobe is so overrated. He struggled to score against Boston defense with any semblance of efficiency and his team record against the Celtic's was 2-6 showing that if he isn't scoring there is nothing else he can do to help his team win. Truly great players can beat you in many ways not just one. Kobe is a one trick pony who has been hyped beyond belief by the goof balls at BSPN who only value scoring. Make no mistake about it...Kobe is a great scorer but is capable of doing nothing else to beat you. Kobe is the most overrated, over hyped player in NBA history IMO. The greatest players of all-time could still find ways to beat you even if the opposing defense was capable of containing them. Kobe is useless if he isn't scoring.

One of the biggest reasons I refuse to believe the Laker's will win the championchip this season is because Boston gave the entire league the blue print on how to defend Kobe and the Laker's. Sure alot of team wont have the athletes to do so successfully but the best teams will. The other reason is because once contained Kobe wont trust his teammates to bail him out he'll just keep taking one bad shot after another.

I often wonder aloud if BSPN is owned by Jerry Jones(Cowboys owner), George Steinbrenner(Yankee's owner) and Mr Buss(Lakers owner) because those three franchises get all of the headlines(win or lose) and we get force fed all of the excuses when they fail to meet the very expectations set forth by them in the first place.
