No parlays yet, and other sports to come later down the road.

3 of your bets are fine, All the Spread ones or "Line" as you wrote down.

2 of your bets are not correct. You can't lay down whatever points you want when it comes to the money line, you have to follow the written odds in that case.

So I fixes those bets, and you have now wagered 100 points on the Suns to win (if they do you'll get 125 points). And 100 points on the spurs to win (and if they do you'll win 130 Points.)

Simply because it revolves around the principle of "100 dollars". You can't bet any arbitrary number on the Money line. You have to either bet the +Number, or bet 100 to win the -Number.

Read what I wrote for GoRaps. When it comes to the money line you have to stick to the values on the line.

Boston is -310 to win 100. So you have to bet 310 of your points, to win an additional 100 points. So if boston wins you get the 310+100 back.

The reason you have to bet 310 to win 100 is because Boston is the favorite, and Vegas wants to urge you to bet on the predicted loser. If you wanna pick against boston, you'd only have to put down 100 points to win 255 points. See how it works now or no? You get rewarded more for picking a dog, and handicapped for picking a favorite.

But I put you down for 310 points on Boston to win 100.

Hey Venom,

This is off topic but I wanted to share this with all you guys anyways, so at least you guys don't get an viruses from sportbook whatever its called, on my FireFox I have wot which detects dangerous website and tells you it's not go to go them them.

While FireFox/wot gave me this right away when I click on that site. This is the screen shot I took so I can show you folks.

LoL at taking my idea. Thanks for the credit (sarcasm), and I actually picked a team rather than playing the house which was much more cheap and guaranteed to win points. I guess I should say great for making an official post on it... I should have done it before but I doubt I'd get the same attention then you two would. And getting your line from sportsbook is another thing I did. I don't know why anyone or people would want to participate in this. Crippa is guranteed to win points... like he needs more? I guess I'm mad I didn't make my own thread first, when I posted this idea in the betting section it got zero attention. I'm sure that you probably saw it which sparked the idea to make a thread... or it could be a coincidence. Who knows... I should just make my own thread and see if I can try to compete, although I doubt that's possible.Oh well...

Sorry to bust your bubble pete but I did not take your idea. I never seen your idea, nor have I ever even commented in the original Betting Thread. I hated it for not offering fair spreads, so I avoided it basically.

Crippa and I came up with the idea one night after talking about Casino (the film). We both love it, and in fact that was probably how him and I met, was discussing that film. Anyways I started talking to him about Vegas and how awesome it is, and it eventually lead to the idea of starting a Sportsbook on M2.

Also I don't know why some people think crippa will automatically make points off of this. We're not charging juice, interest, or anything, a normal book would charge to make money. The odds are esstianally 50/50.

But thanks for calling me out on it, I rather resolve the situation now rather than later. Although I'm sure a PM to each Crippa an I would have been more respectful than simply calling us out in public about it. Just saying, theres an explanation for everything.

yes you do...the line was -2.5 meaning if the heat won by 3 or more than you win the bet.

if the heat won by 2 or less than you would have lost the bet.
