Welcome to the M2 2008 NBA Simulation Challenge!

Well, its back. Last year it was a great successful league we had here and lots of fun.
Hoping to have the same this year, if not better this time.

PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES BEFORE POSTING

[/i]The idea is that a member picks a team in the league and acts as their GM for the league. That means trading players, signing free agents and all sorts of things!

-You must have posted your original roster and 2009-2010 salaries. You can get these figures at www.hoopshype.com/salaries.htm Without the list, you cannot make any transactions. After every transaction please update your post. Look at current rosters as a model.

-For our purposes the cap will be $60,000,000

-Teams above the cap can not acquire more than 125% plus $100 000 of the salary they trade away.

-Teams under the salary cap may make trades but if they go over, the 125% rule will be used for our purposes.

-To re-sign a free agent, you must pay him 125% of his 2009-2010 salary. Don't forget to add this to your statement!

-Post all your transactions. They are not valid until approved by a coordinator. Trades will be looked upon by a 5 person committee to make sure there isn't anything too rigged

-You cannot sign free agents until a given date by me or event_staff_09

-Players with any options, means they stay on the original team with the cash given on hoopshype for the 09/10 year.

-You may release any player from your roster, and you should make it look like my roster in the post below.

-If you asked for a team, event_staff_09 or I will approve/disapprove you before I put you on the list; we will approve you if we know you are an active member.

-Hope that makes things clear for now, if you have any questions, go ahead and ask and hopefully we can give you the answer you need.

I'd usually take the Warriors but I wanna change, I'll take the Hawks for they are my 2nd fav team, and will have a whole lot of cap space for next season, I'll post the roster soon....
