I'll finally be able to watch NBATV in peace this summer.
Whenever the Lakers lose, I can't stand to watch NBATV (or any other sports show/channel for that matter) because I know it'll be full of highlights of the Lakers losing. It was especially bad last summer since the Lakers lost in the finals. That meant a summer full of Celtic highlights. Oh how the turn tables.
Any other of you guys like this?

Congrats to LA. I'm just sorry the series wasn't that competitive with Orlando giving away games. Kobe can struggle late in two of the 5 games, some Lakers struggle to get going, and Orlando can still manage to find a way to lose. I was hoping Kobe's first finals MVP would be one where he took the series over from the opposition, but unfortunately no. He did have good averages of over 30 points and around 6 assists which is good. Glad to see Pau finally win and sad to see Sasha get a ring with all of his ZERO points contributed in the series.

7 years dawg!! World champions baby!!
Thanks the LA Lakers and all his players and staff for the wonderful year, specially this year that I was able to go to LA for 10 days and watch a game live at Staples. To all the Lakers fans, specially those who sticked with LA from the last title, this is out time to celebrate, after all the frustations from the past years. Somebody should remember Chick Hearn, afterall we promised him a title in 2003 after he passed away, and never delivered, till tonight. To one of the greatest Laker of all time, this is for you too Chick, enjoy wherever you are.
WORLD CHAMPIONS BABY!!

Congratulations to Kobe on being the first winner of the Bill Russell trophy. This is perhaps the most defining season of his career, one that stamps a lot of legitimacy and credibility onto his career that otherwise may not have been there.
I'm very interesting in seeing how the dynamic of this team changes going into next season.

Kobe was going to the hall of fame regardless and still would be 1 of the greatest players, but all this did was solidfy him into the top 5 of all time
