When Amare went down I knew we weren't gonna make the playoffs and just accepted it.

I would have preferred the Magic to win but I mean I'm not gonna lose any sleep because Kobe got his 4th.

I'm not making excuses, LA were the better team during the series and deserved the chip but you can't just ignore an elbow to the face in the dieing minutes of a finals game when its a 1 possession game.
Well I was arguing that you shouldn't talk about the refs, since it did go both ways and LA did also not get calls that whole game.... also I didn't bring this up cuz people will say I am biased of course, but I didn't think that elbow should've been an offensive foul on Kobe.

i like kobe getting his 4th ring and first without shaq but lakers 15th title and phil's 10th championship are as equally important. i got to admit that this was a tough choice to make but yeah i still like kobe getting his 4th championship.

As far as the poll goes, I voted for Phil's 10 because it's more important overall. It puts him over Red for the most of any coach ever. Kobe's 4th proved he could win it as the best player on the team, but 4 rings isn't something that has never been done. The franchise didn't pass Boston in total rings, so just closing in on the number really doesn't mean as much as overtaking them. So, Phil gets the nod from me for most important achievement.

I think Phil Jackson is overrated. IMO coaches are OVERRATED. I'm sure my man Sam Mitcheel can also lead this Lakers team to the Finals. Congrats to the Lakers tho. But my Rockets Boy are taking it next year.

Phil is more impressive, but I couldn't care less about what coaches accomplish.
