PS: Anyone else think Lee should've alley ooped it to Dwight on that play? I know I'm talking in hindsight here and it is a lot more difficult to think about this thing in a split second but that would've been a sure shot 2 pter and a win for the magic.
Hmm...I don't know. I just saw it on ESPN again right now and I don't think they would have time unless Dwight jumped right as Lee jumped too.

I was rooting for the magic as well, they needed that game badly.
Sucks they couldn't come away with the W, they had their chances that's for sure

It's a shame Pietrus had to foul out(he didn't foul Bryant on that one play, NBA *Star* ref treatment at it's best) he would have probably finished that excellent play Van Gundy drew up that Courtney Lee couldn't make....Now every game for Orlando is pretty much a must-win. Just win game 3, than every game get's bigger and bigger after that. Lose game 3 and it's over.

They bailed him out TWICE. 1. The Peitrus 5th foul and 2. the foul where Kobe fell down on the ground by himself and nobody touched him.

I call that a bail out. Whatever you want to call it, got ahead. The point is... those two calls put Lakers back in the game. Lakers were down. Those calls stopped the clock twice down the stretch and gave Lakers extra buckets. Again, call it what you want but the point is that it was bullsh*t.

Anyway, this argument is dead and the past is the past. Let's just hope for no more Kobe bailouts by refs.

I don't think the Lakers got bailed out by the refs.Magic had their chance to win and they couldn't make the shot. Was there some homecourt cookin at times like usual in LA, yes. And it's funny when a call doesn't go LA's way just to see jack's reaction on the sidelines, he has a hissy fit. I don't mind Jack as the Lakers most devoted fan, but he's got to know when to sit down and shut up. But the refs didn't give Gasol the calls when he moans and groans, when Gasol does that they should hand him a tech, i'm sorry but cmon Pau, you are a good enough player no need for that.
