I see no argument from you really, we are talking about when healthy and a typical no class Magic fan like you continues to make fun of his health despite Yao ****ting all over your center in head to head matchups
I like mentioning how Yao only averages 20 pts and at a lower percentage when he's supposed to be so skilled offensively... it's a big deal if you're going to say that's his biggest strength. Dwight is the better defensive player. If his offensive skills are enough to crown him the best center over dwight, then why are his scoring numbers so low. Why is Dwight scoring more and at a higher percentage? Yao can shoot, so that makes him better? What good is that skill if you're not producing with it. That doesn't say better to me. It's too bad Yao can't produce better numbers, huh? After all, that's the result of skills and toughness isn't it? Without numbers, you don't win a game. But nah, that's just it... not just numbers. Also finals appearance, athletic dominance (shall i break down all his positives in this category and why they have such a positive impact?), awards, durability, defensive dominance, mvp recognition - reasoning behind the voting numbers, league perception, heart, a 66 win team changing their team just because of him, etc... ya know, stuff like that. I listed Dwight's accomplishments this year compared to Yao, i shouldn't have to repeat it just because you're in denial. But i'm going to as long as you keep resonding to me without acknowleding them. If Yao is so good, where is his all-nba 1st team and all-defensive 1st/2nd/3rd team? Shouldn't the best center have these things?

I consider CP3 the best PG. At least his numbers help prove he's the best at his position. As far as best in the league.. sure CP3 has great numbers, but because i'm not only talking about numbers i wouldn't say he's the best. LeBron is considered the best in the league now. He has great numbers and athleticisim. Hmmm numbers and athleticism, sound familiar? I bet the all-defensive 1st team and all-nba first team sounds familiar too, huh? At least CP3 leads the league in assists, stls and is all-defensive 1st AND all-nba 2nd team. You keep trying to compare other instances of stars to this debate. The problem is all those players are beasts in multiple ways, in ways which help you consider them to be the best at their position. Yao is not doing these things.

Dwight, his coach and his team struggled against the lakers because of their finals inexperience, son. Even then, the series was lost because of a missed oop and free throw. They doubled and tripled him all series long. They chose to let the other players beat them and it worked. During the regular season, Dwight had a 25/20/3 game against them when they played him one on one. He beat the cavs (Best record, debatable best player in the league) and the celtics didn't he? He dominated the 3 other teams in the playoffs. Before the lakers series his numbers were way up from the regular season. Yao's numbers were down through 9 games, then he got injured because he's fragile. Best center? Yeah, if dwight retires. Keyword IF just like your IF Yao is healthy. His health has had a big impact on the team the last 4 years, in a negative way. You know what, that's bull anyway. Yao played a full regular season pretty much and he still did nothing to prove he's the best. I already said i like his game, but i'm not going to give you best center... sorry.

Sure, Dwight struggles against the rockets partly because Yao is 7'6 300+ with a wide lower body... and he hasn't figured that out yet, but you do realize there are 28 other teams in the league right? So is that your basis for awarding yao best center in the league? Because of 2 games a year? lol... Alright, then i pick dwight's 45pt/19reb/8blk triple double and 40pt/14reb ecf closeout game against the best record in the league to represent why he's the best. See how silly that sounds? You have to consider the whole season against all the teams.

People like you underrate Dwight and the magic all year long and then are surprised when they make it to the finals. I've never laughed more in a season. Whatever, I'm done with you. All you can do is pull out one thing i say and you can't even argue that correctly. I guess it means you agree with everything else that i've said huh? I could debate this forever, too bad you can't. The debate is over, i'll let you go back to saying the same weak line you say to people who don't even watch these two play more than a handful of games a year or to people who respond with one line. Enjoy yourself.

The only thing I see is your worthless opinion, sadly I am a fan of facts and I think most people here are as well. Most people who have posted here have said Yao, but have not voted for him. Yao Ming is the best center in the NBA and uses the 2nd best center in the NBA Dwight Howard as his cum rag.

Stupid/ overused cliche, The magic played in many close play-off games, and experienced both victory and defeat. Playing in a game just dubbed "The Finals" shouldn't have changed their approach.

lmfao and who missed the free throw(s) again?

they actually didn't if you saw the series, the put Andrew Bynum on him as a body, did a very bad job, and then if Dwight got in too deep they would bring a second defender. When matched up against Gasol he used his idiot brute strength and got 2 offensive fouls. He's just not intelligent. They didnt consistently double/ triple team him without the ball like they did Yao.

i'll give him props for game 6, its VERY difficult to score against one of the greatest defensive specialists in the game, Zydrunas Ilgauskas!!!

When all are healthy I value Yao's skill right over Dwight's strength and defensive presence. Yao's size alone gives him a good presence in the game, plus he's a good passer. However, I don't see anyone stopping Howard in 2/3 years though should he develop more go to moves.

When healthy ? I don't think you can say that because Yao is never healthy LOL

Andrew Bynum is up there with them 2 when he's healthy,

Your absolutely right Dwight is by far the best center in the league, but when Andrew Bynum is healthy he's in the convo.
