Dwight's fans could only say that if he could have post moves,if he could develop offensive skills,if he could make more freethrows.Come on,face the fact now,no imagination,OK?
Like you guys,could i pick Shaq's son or Yao's future babe?Huhhh......

Yao averages more points, rebounds, has an outside game, and can make his free throws. Not dissing Dwight but Yao is a overall better player.
How can anyone think Dwight is better? Sure he is a target for defense but Yao can block also, just not as monstrous.

what the hell are you talking about?
I don't think there is any question that yao is more skilled, but he cant stay healthy and because of dwights athleticism he has better production.
take your pick.

What the f*cking hell are you talking about? Dwight OBVIOUSLY averages more rebounds, and he averages more points as well.

Skill wise:
Defense: 9
Offense: 3

Now on the subject, in my opinion Yao is better , but let's get something straight. 2K8 was mentioning how much fantasies it was to say stuff like "Dwight only has to add some post moves to his arsenal" and although it is, it is just as much to say that Yao is the best when ehalthy, because he's never healthy. The talent is obviously there, but I don't ever see him win a Championship because he's always out when it counts, most talented center or not, if you can't get your team further because you are unjury plagued, i don't want you. And thus i would take Howard, yes skills-wise he is inferior to Yao, but his mentality and toughness make him a good centerpiece to a championship caliber team.

Good point, Healthy Yao = Dwight with post moves. But meh it's easier to control injuries than your game.

Yao at 100% still isn't the better center, and it would only be a matter of time before his glass foot would break again and take him out for the year, so OF COURSE Howard is better. More durable, more dependable, FAR superior athlete, far better rebounder and defensive player, and still averaged more PPG despite having an inferior skillset on offense. Howard >>>>>>>>>> Yao. EASY
Al Jefferson and Shaquille O'Neal are better than Yao as well.
