Who is the best center in the league?

Yao Ming or Dwight Howard and them both being a 100% as well.

This is probably the 2nd or 3rd closest debate after Kobe-LeBron and CP3-Deron Williams. I go with a healthy Yao. He's better than Dwight everything offensively and is a better post defender not to mention Yao destroys him head to head. Dwight will eventually be better, but as for now It's Yao.

DPOY, We all know that. Winning the East with no Kevin Garnett and with 2 all-stars on your team, Hedo may not have been an all-star but he certainly should have been last season and deserves recognition this season. Yao Ming remains the best center in basketball.

Come on people show some love for Tim Duncan, I know he's a PF really but he's been playing C in the last 2 or 3 years.

About the topic it depends on what you're looking for, If you want a power center, then it's Howard, if you want a finesse player go with Yao or Duncan, If all of them are healthy I'd pick Duncan, but between Yao and Dwight I prefer Howard because I look for strengh and power on a center, he's out there to rebound, put the trash on the can and patroll the paint. Dwight Howard does that as good as someone can do.

Duncan is a PF, Still a Top 5 player in the league and the best big man in the game. But this is center and Yao Ming is the best center in the league.

Yao is closer to Dwight's rebounding and defensive game than Dwight is to Yao's offensive game.

yao hands down, and second is shaq. dwight has no moves, and plays like a biatch. wassup with 20000 pump fakes under the basket? just get it, and go up straight and bang it. i was really disappointed by his performance in the finals.

Yao.

A big man who gets to the line, and can't convert is a detriment. Dwights "touch" around the rim is horrendous, and he has no idea what to do if things get out of sync.

Yao is by far the best offensive center. And his presence on defense is underrated.
