OT: I really don't know why Ainge is saying this. Is it getting blown out of proportion of did he really say this? Can't believe he did this, they had a good chance of getting back-to-backs if KG was healthy.

According to the same source that disclosed Terry Porter was about to be fired as Suns coach, the Rockets are leaning toward swapping Tracy McGrady's expiring $22M contract, Carl Landry and Aaron Brooks for Leandro Barbosa and Stoudemire, who owns an escape clause after next season and is demanding an extension this summer to waive it.

i guess the trade would be OK
i know Rockets fans wouldnt want to lose Brooks but u do get barbosa in return
the only thing is if the Suns trade STAT there only really going to have 1 big man in Lopez b/c they already traded Shaq hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It would be good for the Rockets since they're giving away a washed up guy for a guy that is a knucklehead but a talented one. Giving away brooks though only leaves them with Lowry as a reliable PG solution and that is kinda difficult for a contending team.

Important note: Barbosa should not be inserted in the same sentence with Point Guard in the history of this planet.

Barbosa would make a decent enough PG in the Rockets system, they dont need him to run the offense, just get out and run around Yao

A pretty decent trade for both teams, Im guessing Suns would do this, then trade Nash for a big man, since they would be without Shaq+Amare if this trade happens
