^^^Well buddy I got news for you, Gasol was a great player before he was traded for the Lakers.
And second, the world is not only USA. Ginobili, Kukoc, Yao, Nash, Dirk, and many many others are international players too.

Was he a "great" player? Are you sure you want to say that?

The Lakers "got lucky" complaints are no longer warranted.
The Suns only did because it was a salary dump for them.

That's the point with Pau.

Haha, not really, but he was as good a he was in his 1st year with the Lakers, Pau Gasol was in Memphis one of the top 5 international players in the NBA with Manu Nash and Dirk.

To make it simple, he was "Pau Gasol" already in Memphis, is not like he got much better in LA, indeed I think he only got a little bit stronger, but not a better overall player.

Yes because Shaq is at the prime of his career, and RJ is clearly a franchise caliber player

What a ****ing tool.

a) You think that Cavs got a steal...LMFAO...let alone a good deal, which it isn't.
b) You felt compelled to mention Wallace as over the hump yet Shaq appears to be in mint condition according to you. Shaq has depreciated far more than Wallace.
c) You're comparing Pau to RJ and a lumbering and greatly restricted 37 year old Shaq.

GMs and Experts alike came out and laughed at how much of a steal it was. There have been lobsided trades over the years but few if any have been that lobsided whilst involving the caliber of player that Lakers got. If you weren't such a d*ck you would just lap up the success it has brought and not cared for such comments. I would tell you to get some perspective, but you're a Laker fan, and I'm a realist.
