Pau was Amazing on defense, probably the best rotating center in the league at that point.
Strange how you deny Dwight Howard was absolutely held on lock down, while they played him straight up most of the time and pau actually destroyed the whole magic pick & roll.

just cause he gets over powered once in a while and doesn't have the dominant swag don't mean he's a bad defender.

All this BS about Pau not having any defense, name to me another PF that could alternate between guarding Dwight in the post and then having to check Rashard on the perimeter, and being equally adept at both.

Then consider the job he did on everyone he checked on route to the Finals last year, sure he has his lapses but it usually stems from his team defense, his man on man defense has always been superb. There is a reason several post scorers have commended his length. The guy is a really good defender.

How good was the Lakers defense before Pau?

Also everything youve said contradicts what Tim Duncan and KG have said about his defense. Gasol played Rashard straight up, they only double Dwight because hes not very good at dealing with them.
