Ben Gordon & Charlie Villanueva are Pistons

DETROIT (AP) -- A person tells The Associated Press that Chicago Bulls guard Ben Gordon is in talks with the Detroit Pistons about joining the team.



Pistons spokesman Kevin Grigg declined comment on Gordon's situation Wednesday, saying there's an NBA moratorium on discussing free-agent matters.
But a person close to the talks says Gordon was in Michigan on Wednesday. The person declined to be identified because the talks are private, but says Gordon was meeting with Joe Dumars, Detroit's president for player personnel.
Gordon was Chicago's top scorer the past four years and became an unrestricted free agent after the season. Bulls officials have said bringing him back next year was a top priority.

Well all of this free-agent talk depends on who else comes anywhere, not just one name. So yeah he'll help them a lot, but what will happen to Sheed, AI, Stuckey, Hamilton, all those guys, how, and where, will they play next year?

the pistons should trade what they have now with rip, prince, AI and sheed and get some young talent .
i think its time for them to start over .

A great decision by the Pistons but they already have so much guards.

Great job by Joe D on finding a good star guard who also wouldn't mind coming of the bench unlike Iverson. If they will be able to sign Charlie V as well this will be huge for the Pistons.
