Attention Dick Riders - Don't Get Banned

If you can bring up other players in certain threads to argue the topic of the thread, then that's great. But if you feel like bringing up your favorite player in every thread, or say something like "KOBE IZ TEH BEST!!!" in the "Michael Jordan still has it" thread... then get ready to find out how these rules work.

You guys understand that we're tired of all the dumb ish by now. So here's how it will go:

1st offense - You get a warning through PMs, cuz we're nice guys.
2nd - one to three day ban, depending on how annoying/worthless you are
3rd - one week ban
4th - one month ban
5th - bye bye

Got it? We're not gonna play favorites either, if anyone does this stuff, report it. PM me and link me to posts. PM lubes or PM another mod. Don't start PMing us posts of dudes you hate though who are just arguing. Or we'll play unfavorites and hate you.

M2 has been losing quality, we need to get back up there again.

Hopefully we get rid of some of the more useless trolls around here and start raising the quality of discussion. Like I said in the other thread, feel free to PM any of us (well any of the active moderators at least) and if we don't have permission to ban members we'll forward it onto someone who can .

I love M2 but I think this unfair!

This is basketball, professional sports and the greatest players from any generation will ALWAYS be compared. I understand your example of bringing up Kobe in a MJ has still got it thread but say there is a thread about the Boston Celtics and how good they are. Are we not allowed to argue that another team is better in that thread?

I just want to get a clarification on the vagueness of these new rules.

It would be ok if maybe just you felt like that, and you highjacked one out of every 100 threads to voice an opinion, but you'd be hard pressed to find a topic with Kobe in the title or just LeBron in the title, where a random comparison of the two sprouts out of no where.

Yea cuz you're one of the reasons we made this new rule.

Look, the mods aren't robots. We can tell when you bring up something that could work with a topic, and we can tell when you're hijacking a thread like you usually do. And 1st offense is a warning remember, so that should give you an idea of where you went wrong.

You don't need to say TMac sucks in every thread.
