If they had a healthy Jameer last year in the finals they could have taken the laker to 6-7 games or even beat them. If you look at the games when Jameer played vs the Lakers he would totally destroy them. Now this year their bench is deeper and they've upgraded from last year so if this team can stay healthy I could really see them beating the Lakers.Vince has proven he can slow down Kobe. NOT STOP but just slow him down a bit.
Here are Kobe's numbers wen defended by Vince in the last few years
14-36 = .389%
9-24 = .375%
8-24 = .333%
4-13 = .308%
7-21 = .333%
3-13 = .231%
5-17 = .294%
5-19 = .263%
55- 167 = .329%

I really dont get why people think they have no chance against the Lakers. They definetly have a chance IMO

I think they'll go up against the Celtics and win in the Conference Finals.
Not to sure about the Finals though. The Spurs improved and the Lakers could still be the dominate team they were last season.

It's just preseason. It's gonna be Cavs beating the Lakers in the finals

yeah even if it is just the pre season, the way they are winning these games says something. i thought the one area orlando needed to improve in was bench production, but the bench is looking surprisingly good. If this team meshs together, watchout.

my hopes are getting up for the season. why cant it start already?
Def true, didnt say it cause i thought i was already typing too much, but the bench has been more efficient then the starters couple of games in the preseason, vince was shooting low percentages in the first couple of games.

Thats harsh, a loss to the lakers in the finals, guaranteed . . .i dont agree, i think lakers will win the west and are still favorites to win it all, but orlando has a shot and so does boston and some other teams.

They are the most deepest out of all the contenders, so they could win the whole thing if they have no mental lapses or injuries

Yeah it is just pre-season, but a team who has what like 6 new players in the rotation(I included Jameer into that as he was injured the majority of last season)

Our lineup was different every pre-season game, the only player to play them all was Goro.

Lewis didn't play the last 3 or 4.

Yeah it's only preseason, but it was just as much the Regular season for us. We have all these new players, all this talent, only so many minutes to hand out. With Lewis' 10 game suspension rotations and team chemistry really need to be tested. A lot of people were expecting us to fail (and still are), especially with waving goodbye to Turks and Courtney...

I think we can make the finals. There isn't many teams that REALLY concern me as a Magic fan. We have a great team, its quite deep, and we can still create some pretty good Match Up problems, especially with Lewis, Anderson.

Oh we have OYO too.
