Nah that's crap, the complaining part is true but not the percentages. When they changed the ball most percentages were up, but the complaints weren't about that, it was because of the state of their hand. The synthetic balls dried up the skin and cracked it apparently.

Umm...are you sure about shooting percentages being up?

Have you ever shot on a double rim? A lot of balls go down and out, shooter's touch basically disappears. There's a whole lot less give in the rim and a lot of shots just clank.
