Can Danilo Gallinari keep this up? -

He didn't prove himself last season, but now he has started the season with 18 threes (50%) and 22,7 points per game. Without a doubt he fits in the Knicks playing style and he can definately shoot.
It's a little early, but do you think that he can keep this up?

I honestly feel he can keep it up, not saying he's gonna average this much points toward the end of the season, but I feel he's gonna be shooting a relatively high percentage from behind the arc for the remainder season. Coach D'Antoni will be giving him alot of playing time due to him being the son of his former teammate back in Italy, he's going to have alot of chances to prove himself this year. Like you said, he fits in with the their offense perfectly, so I don't see how he won't benefit the Knicks this year.

hes a solid player however....
he needs to work on
1. adding strength
2. defense
3. shot selection
in due time he can be a very good player but he has some poor shot selection at times, but i don't think you can blame that ALL on him because the knicks' system is to chuck a shot any time you think you're open.
hes probably the best player on that team at this point.

Well he's playing great of course, but I think he's settling too much for the jumper. He's making them, but teams will start to close him out real bad, that's when he needs to go inside, or at least go inside of the 3-point line..

He will end the season with bout 17 PPG i believe, i actually watched all 3 of the Knicks games so far, he's looking pretty impressive, hitting some big shots and all

His point average is gonna drop by the end of the season. I don't think he is going to be able to stay at this pace for the rest of the season, but he should still be scoring pretty high. He has really good form and is very good at catching and shooting right away.
