Raptor fans are unfair and cruel. In the past as a new jersey net vince carter has received lets just say not so warm welcomes. So it's going to be very interesting to see how they react to it.

Vince definetly has to show up, even if the fans might boo him. Matter of fact if he doesn't show up this will be another reason why raptor fans will hate him even more

This really doesn't make any sense. He's still playing. Not only is he still playing, but he's in your conference. They should wait to honor them until he's retired. Maybe during their 25th anniversary or something.

They'll cheer.
Any fan would boo there best player or dunker if he left because he had a problem with management. But deep down inside, they know what he did for the franchise. He deserves to get a round of applause. |

I'm happy for Vince, this was bound to come some point in time. As a Raptors fan I love what he did for the franchise, this guy deserves some lovin' during the ceremony.

Being the best player of all time for that franchise, taking them past the first round of the play-offs for the first time, making the city of Toronto relevant in NBA. This is well deserving, and he def. deserves to be honored. Hopefully it'll go like Bruce Smith's Football Hall of Fame induction in Buffalo, he was booed slightly at the beginning then towards the end everyone cheered for him..
