Vince Carter To be Honored By The Raptors on Nov 22.

But that opportunity might come Nov. 22 at Air Canada Centre when the player who demanded out of Toronto after six-plus seasons will be….. honored by the franchise as part of their 15th anniversary celebration.
The Raptors say they will first ask Carter if he wants to go through with a ceremony, realizing the backstory.

"Everybody wants to know how we can do it, but Vince is part of the history here," Raptors General Manager Bryan Colangelo told the Sentinel. "Most of the people that he had problems with here are gone."

Thats crazy.If this ceremony goes through,I will like Toronto again only if they cheer for what VC has done for them.

If the Raptors fans actually cheer for Vince Carter during this ceremony he will probably begin to show some real emotion, maybe show some tears too. Im sure this would mean everything to Vince after all he did with that franchise.

Well I think VC doesn't want to come, because he will be afraid fans will boo him, and I think Vince is right in that expectation. I do like the Raps though for inviting him. VC baby!

As a Raptors fan I can tell you I will be at the game. Everyone has mixed feelings about the ceremony but I will cheer him during the ceremony and boo him in the game.

yea i think that would be a perfect resolution.Cheering at the cermony would mean we appreciate all hes done in T.O and even him leaving and facing us in games and playoffs was entertaining. It created alot of drama that made the games alot more fun.

That's a bold move but also a very classy move (Oh Canada lol so forgiving). I say go for it. He was the most well known player in the franchise history, brought exposure and attention to them and its probably better to remember the good rather than the bad
