He Should join! Win a chip! win allstar mvp! win allstar sdc by trying to dunk over chris bosh fail at it hit him with a hard knee in the face and still make it! win allstar 3point shootout!
oke seriously.
I think it would be awesome if he joined in, and maybe lebron no more nate and dwight. Hes will emberass his legacy a bit if loses yes, but i think he can win it. He still has some mad hops hes got the ever lasting vince carter flow to it. And he is creative, hes seen a lot of new dunks since 2000 sdc and im sure that he can come up with some nice ones we aint seen before.

There's no way Vince is gonna return to the contest. They asked him in 2003, 2005 and 2006. He didn't make a comeback in any of those years.
BUT two and a half years ago, when he was asked about the contest, Vince told Sports Illustrated that he still had dunks that nobody has ever seen before. I know that was 06-07, but its only been a little more than 2 yrs, I really think Vince can still do those dunks, whatever they were. We all saw that windmill alley oop off the backboard this summer and he's been doing those 360's in warmups a lot lately...I'm sure he still got it. But we wouldn't want Vince to tarnish his legacy because nobody will ever live up to his performance in 2000.

Doesn't Vince remember that him and T-mac were on the same team and both participated the year he won it? I'd like to see him come back and do it again, he could still have some good dunks left in him to win it...but realistically I don't think he would do it

Oh please, if he can throw rock the craddle dunks in-game, off the bounce pass dunks in-game, and all sort of other crazy dunks, I have no doubt he can rule a freaking dunk contest.
This one has the off the bounce pass dunk, which is particularly sick considering he finished it with some kind of windmill, during a freaking game. It's at 0:50....
