Memphis' GM is the worst of all time. Any guy managing a fantasy team could do a better job than him. Why the hell did he pick up Iverson??? He had a talented team core with Gay, Mayo and Conley. And then he brings in Iverson, who maybe could be a D-League starter, certainly not a nba starter, who will ruin the team's chemistry and take away minutes from the young guys.

I can't believe the ammount of hate A.I. garners from various people and media. He's a pure scorer and deserves to start. Conley or Iverson? No question, just an Answer. Best small scorer in the history of this game imo.

the Phillie times are over! nobody needs his whining and bad shooting percentage. If he can't accept playing of the bench, he should really consider ending his career. At least in NBA.

I can't believe all this hate either. Iverson is not over. He averaged 26,4ppg with Denver in 2008. I just think it's funny how people say he should accept the bench role, he should pass more, while he made a carrer, a MVP season, by playing over 40min and scoring. All of a sudden he has to be what he never was in his carrer.

He's 34 years old.
12.8 PPG | 8.5 RPG | 1 BPG | 52 % shooting.

That does not mean anything, if he's in shape, like he seems to be.
By your logic, in 3 years Kobe should accept come off the bench and play way less minutes, just cause he will be 34?

Well...a 34 year old Kobe would help the Memphis team from now more than a 34 year old Iverson does now...if he even helps...

But Kobe has changed, and as a Lakers fan you know that.Kobe is willing to sacrifice himself for the W..Iverson is not.

Naw, I wouldn't go that far. Kobe was not in the situation Iverson is, so it's only speculation how Kobe would act, sure the chance that he does the right thing and works for the team is higher than with Iverson, but I'm not 80% sure about it.
Iversons behaviour is questinable though.
