Re: Phil Jackson: Overrated?

ARE YOU SERIOUS ??????? PHIL JACKSON OVERRATED ???????

PHIL JACKSON IS A SPECIAL COACH.

IS TRUE HE HAS JORDAN, PIPPEN?, SHAQ, KOBE ... ETC. BUT DIDNT SLOAN HAVE MALONE N STOCKTON?, KARL HAD GARY, KEMP? ...

EVERY COACH HAS A GROUP OF SPECIAL PLAYERS.... IF PHIL HAD COACHED THE JAZZ PPL WOULD HAV THEN SAID ... YEAH JACKSON HAS "X" AMOUNT OF RINGz BUT HE HAD MALONE N STOCKTON? N THE SAME THING IF HE HAD ENDED UP COACHIN THE SONICS OR ANY OTHER TEAM IN THE NBA... PPL WOULD SAY "THE ONLY REASON HE HAS WON THIS MANY RINGz IS BECAUSE HE HAS HAD THE LUCK TO HAV HALL OF FAMERS "X" "Y" N "Z" PLAYIN IN HIS TEAM"

THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THAT IS ... IF HE WOULD HAV COACH THE SUNS THE LAST 3 YEARS AND WOULD HAV WON AT LEAST ONE RING THEN PPL WOULD SOMEHOW DEMINISH THAT CHAMPIONSHIP BECAUSE HE HAD NASH, MARION N AMARE ... N I HONESTLY THINK HE WOULD HAVE MADE THE "PEACE" BETWEEN MARION N THE REST OF THE TEAM... PPL WOULD SAY "IS HARD NOT 2 WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS WHEN U HAV MVP NASH RUNNIN THE POINT, MARION PLAYIN D, RUNNIN THE FLOOR N AMARE IN THE POST" ...BUT JUST ASK D'ANTONI? TAT

JORDAN IS SEEN AS THE GOAT BECAUSE HE HAS RINGz, MVPz ... PIPPEN?, O'NEAL, BRYANT [UP TO THIS POINT] ARE SEEN HAS LEGENDz, THEY STAND OUT MORE THAN MALONE, STOCKTON, KEMP, BARKELEY, N MANY GREAT PLAYERS. .. .BECAUSE THEY HAVE RINGz

THATz WAT MAKE PHIL JACKSON SO SPECIAL N IF ANYTHIN JACKSON IS UNDERRATED. HE IS ABLE TO MAKE GREAT PLAYERS LOOK EVEN GREATER. HE IS ABLE TO PREPARE HIS TEAMz BETTER THAN MOST COACHES AND HE CAN BACK UP 9 TIMEz

Getting beaten by the best 1-2 punch in the league history. Lakers were actually favorites for the ring in '98 for part of the year.
Neither team went to the Finals, and neither team won in the NBA Finals.

The team the Lakers had in '98 was even more talented than the 3-peat teams were.

Jackson not only won NBA finals with these players. He guided them to consecutive NBA Finals wins.

That's far more than what Collins or Harris could do.

Re: Phil Jackson: Overrated?

I think he's a good coach, don't get me wrong. But I'm saying the way some people rate him would make him overrated.

Like, when people compare Kobe to Jordan. That overrates him.

Honestly i dont think compareing kobe to jordan overrates him too much but thats besides the point.

and IMO Phil Jackson is closer to Jordan then kobe in terms of coaching.

Re: Phil Jackson: Overrated?

i dont even like him all that much, even though he is a beast of a coach. He is a legend, a HOF and he has enough rings to put on 8 fingers and 1 toe.

your an artard mate, no offence GTFO off this site .
