Is overrated, overrated?

I keep hearing is so and so overrated, is being this overrated is having this attribute overrated. Man...I'm getting sick of hearing overrated.

Is the term overrated, overrated? Or maybe just over used?

People get to carried away with athletes and overrate them. It's a fact. Chris Paul has a good year and now he's going to be the best PG EVER. And Bynum has a good half year and now he is the Lakers saviour and they're going to be a dynasty.

No, it's not an overrated term. Underrated is overused term. Especially on underachievers. Like, Odom. He has all this potential and sorta gets by his whole carer then he does somewhat what hes suppose to do then hes underrated. Yet, he's the 3rd man.

People only use the word over-rated for a reason and that is if someone or something is over-rated.

I use it all the time...for instance: Shawn Kemp was extremely overrated his entire career.
