I agree with why does their have to be the best player? Honestly we havent seen the best player until we have seen the best scorer, shooter, passer, rebounder, stealer, shot blocker, defender, clutch all in 1 person. Until I see this I must say there is no limit on NBA players.

Re: Are you tired of the Kobe/MJ comparisons?

As long as Kobe doesn't get more titles, MVP Awards, Finals MVP Awards and also better stats, don't compare the two. I don't care about anybody saying Kobe reminds him of MJ, but comparing Kobe to Jordan? C'mon!

Re: Are you tired of the Kobe/MJ comparisons?

I hate these comparisons. Especially when people try to downgrade kobe by mentioning jordan. If kobe sucks so bad why do ya have to mention the G.O.A.T. of the NBA. As for you goldleader after watching the lakers vs spurs series why do u still believe duncan is better? Greg Popovich has said duncan would tell you himself Kobe is the better player.

Re: Are you tired of the Kobe/MJ comparisons?

Comparisons are inevitable in sports so that people have some kind of yardstick to measure greatness of players. But the Kobe/MJ one definitely has gotten out of hand.

This NBA finals should do the trick for a while though. Listening to sports radio (in LA), people are already saying the Kobe/MJ talks should stop for a while, at least until Kobe wins another ring.

Re: Are you tired of the Kobe/MJ comparisons?

What is there to compare? They have a similar jump-shot? Big fukin ****! That don't mean squat in a league that doesn't care what your shot or style looks like, as long as it wins - see Duncan and the Spurs for a good example. The only things Kobe does Jordan-esque is his jump-shot, and the sticking the tongue thing out.

The difference is, Jordan's jump-shot was natural, and Kobe probably practised it 1,000 times over to get it to look like Jordan's. And the tongue thing... PATHETIC! Jordan sticks his tongue out because it's a habit. Started with his granddad, then his father, and now Michael. Even when they used to work on cars, they used to stick their tongues out.

FUK THIS COMPARISON PISSES ME OFF!!!
