NOOOOOO! Calathes was easily one of my favorite NCAA players last season and apparently the Mavs had good interest in him, he could have been a 1st rounder, but if he really does go play in Greece like the article proposes, I won't get to see him play next season....Fark.

Let me clear things up since I know about this issue first hand. So Nick has signed a three year deal with Panathinaikos, that is indeed true. However on his contract there is a term just like the one Josh Childress has on his which is that he can go play in the NBA anytime he wants to (in other words he can get out of his contract in case he wants to go to the US). Word has it that Nick will enter the draft and will try to get drafted by the best team possible. If the team that picks him suits him then he will be in the NBA next season. If however he doesn't like the team that picks him or the situation there is worse than the one he will have over here, he's coming to Greece.
