2007-2008 NFL Season Betting Thread (Bans, higher stakes, new rules)

New rules this season.

Rules:

1. No betting more than you have.
2. You must pay within 3 days of the game ending on if you lost the bet, if you don't, you'll get a ban. A mod will contact the non paying bidder and give reasonable time (up to the discretion of the mod) for them to respond. If you can't pay within 3 days, talk to the person who you are betting with and make sure you guys agree on something. Mods will leave usernotes on non paying bidders and multiple usernotes may result in a ban.
3. How many days you will be banned is proportional to how many points you owe. Every 50 points is 1 day on the ban. Hence owing 1000 points = 20 day ban. The system does not allow us to do bans for all number of days, so your ban may be rounded up to the next number of days. For example, I can't ban for 13 days but I can do it for 2 weeks.
4. Once a bet is taken you may only edit your post up to 24 hours before the game starts if you are the one who agreed to the bet (the 2nd person who replied). Once you accept the bet it is on. If you are the first person who posted (so the one who offered to bet anyone), you may not edit your post at any time.
5. Editing your post during game time is an automatic 1 week ban, no questions asked. There was a huge problem with this before and it's not happening this year.
6. There is a minimum of 1000 points on each game.

Note: You may bet in the other thread as well as I myself did but I'm going to be modding this one.

I'll be taking Philly over Green Bay for 1000 points this week, any takers?
