Re: Surprise team of 08!!

I really want to say the Lions, but I will go with my better judgment and say the Texans. I like their defense.

get out. now. no way the same old sorry ass browns are gonna dethrown the steelers, the steelers played pretty badly last year and won the division, they're only gonna get better.

on espn, in the midst of the favre comeback situation on certain teams, they asked brett favre or ben roethlisberger and they picked big ben, thats sayin something, the running game is back. im thinkin super bowl!

im also a big time steelers fan but i do think they will still win the division. even though they lost allan faneca and their running game may not be as strong they now have Rashard Mendenhall so they can power over teams with the double back system. and hopefully limas sweed can help the steelers offense with some big time plays. Im not worried about their D they'll do just fine so look for them to repeat as division champs in 08.

But surprise team 08 will be the Buffalo Bills. They did decent last year at 7-9 with a rookie QB. And should be able to make the playoffs this year with an easy schedule to slip into a wild card spot.

Yeah, thats what i was gonna say.

One of the reasons why the steelers lost in the wild card game was because our RB Willie Parker broke his leg i think in the game before the playoffs so he obviously couldnt play.

Tell me how they surprised anyone.

They played a terrible Detroit team, a Tampa Bay team that isn't looking their best, and now one of the worst team's in the league in Kansas City.

still they are 2-1 how did see that one coming except me
and Im pretty sure those teams had every intention of winning their games vs Falcons

and it dosent matter if you are a bad team look at Dolphins they are upseting Patriots everybody who are involved in Football knows that in Football anything can happen
KC could have upset Falcons but they didnt

Falcons has suprised so far cause the expert here on m2 thougt they would loose every single game

Browns 0-2 play 4.15 pm @ Baltimore

Re: Surprise team of 08!!

Sorry to upset you I guess.

I never said the Browns would surprise. You're the one that said that. I never said that Houston would surprise either, and I definitely didn't claim to be an expert. You're the only one that seems to think his knowledge is superior to everyone else's. Reality check: the Falclowns have only played three games.
