Thank God Grossman's not at the level he was 2-3 years ago. He's still young, he can be boneheaded alot, but he's a slinger so whatever, you deal with the mistakes. Because 2-3 years have passed, it's not like he's going downhill, he's still learning and still getting used to the game.
I agree we should have cut him, we should have got another QB, we should've done something, but the Bears are making good moves to compensate for that. Do you guys forget that the Bears made it to the Superbowl in spite of Grossman already? Mike Brown is back, and if he's healthy, that's the whole defense right there, he's the biggest difference maker for the team, and I'd know from watching them over the last 3 years. Even when the offense was bad, the defense would make up for it with a short field off turnovers and some touchdowns, a good amount of which came from Mike Brown's hands.
The Vikings are gonna be good, the Packers will be alright as well, so it'll be more of an issue of the Bears being good enough to get a Wild Card. They're not a divisional-winner caliber team though.
