Re: Top 4 fantasy football RBs, QBs, WRs???

This is in order:

QB
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Carson Palmer
Drew Brees

RB
LaDainian Tomlinson
Brian Westbrook
Adrian Peterson (I hate putting guys on after one season but it's AD)
Steven Jackson

WR
Terrell Owens
Randy Moss
Chad Johnson
Torry Holt

If we're rating it on consistent fantasy performers, year in and year out, Randy would be off the list, and Peterson would be off the list.

just beacause he is on a better team now dosent make him the player he once was

Torry Holt coming in evey season and you know were you have this guy he is stable and every since since 2000 he has gotten over 1,000 receiving yards
Well fact is Moss does play with Brady (though I think Randy Moss's productivity actually does depend on his level of content --which was low in OAK) and Moss puts up big TDs -- which are worth more in FF.

And Torry Holt's past 2 years have not been up to his standard, and there is no reason to see him improving, especially since Issac Bruce will be gone.

2007 stats:
Moss:
touch/TD*= 4.26
YPC avg= 15.2
Holt:
touch/TD= 13.29
YPC avg= 12.8

*lower=better as it means they will get more TDs in the same number of receptions.

Yeah, I don't think Holt is better than Moss...but you're basing it off one season, which was probably the greatest season ever for a WR.

yea thats what everybody pretty much does on this site, base everything off one season. Pierce suddenly being a hall of famer, Moss being the greatest after he was nothing with Oakland... And i still belive jerry rices 22 in 12 games is more impressive than 23 in 16, but Moss as a fantasy Receiver will be the best this year cuzza NEw Englands easy schedule i cud potentially see him getting 20 tds

no i wasnt basing it off of last season alone....remember a few years back when moss was on minnesota? moss destroyed everyone that TRIED to cover him. 17 TD's rookie year. in oakland, he didnt try. he was sick of losing and sick of being a raider. he was the highest paid player on the team, and still wanted out. he proved that he is the best WR in the game last year and that he hadnt gone off the radar

I admit Moss destroyed DBs when he was in Minnesota he was a beast back then he defentivly was in top 2 of the best WRs in the NFL

then he comes to Oakland there he drops every ball and he didnt want be a Raider but that shouldnt effect you if youre a good player you still go out there and do the best you can to make yourself look good and Moss was invincible in Oakland then he comes to the Pats where the QB makes him look good again......
He didnt produce **** in Oakland and then you got a next Hall Of Famer as your QB when he goes to the Patriots.......
and he had a great QB with the Vikings to but he didnt had a great qb with the Raiders and he was a big part of Raiders passing game for 2 seasons and he didnt produce ****....
I promise you if it was T.O. who was in that situation that Moss was in with the Raiders then he still had been producing

In 2006 he had 553 Receiving yards with 3 TDs
Terrell Owens didnt clicked with Jeff Garcia he´s last season as a 49ers but still managed to get 1,102 Receiving yards with 9 tds and he didnt want to be a 49er more
Randy Moss aint better then Terrell Owens if T.O. was with the Pats he would have more Receiving Yards and more TDs then Randy Moss had 07

I dont hate Randy Moss he is a great WR but he aint in my top 5 and he aint better then Jerry Rice like somebody thought he was

The two common denominators on both teams he's been on when he's done good are gunslingers. Brady isn't exactly a strong armed QB but he's one of the most accurate downfield passers, and Culpepper just has a cannon. Don't forget that Culpepper was also a top 3 QB when he was with Minnesota. The only problem is that we haven't had an average QB to compare him to. He had 2 great QBs and, what like 4 terrible ones in Oakland?

He's a great WR and a great talent but over his career, he hasn't been as consistent as you'd like.

Darren Sproles deserves to be mentioned I know he is a back up for LT but that guy can run

http://youtube.com/watch?v=50_Z-JGL-O4&feature=related

He gonna be a next Barry Sanders if he continues this way God damn look at him its like every time he touches the ball he takes it to the house

Darren Sproles is sick

yeah but you have to acknowledge the fact that Randy is on a better team now...that may not make him a better player as an individual but it got his stats up like crazy....at least better than torry holts stats n thats what Fantasy Football is about you know im sayin?
