Why would Gostkowski be in anyone's top 5? He made like 22 FGs last season and not a single one was from over 50 and he was the 12th most accurate kicker despite not even attempting from over 50.

According to yahoo, he was the fifth leading scorer for all kickers. He led the league in PATS with 74 and in 2nd place, it was Nick Folk with 53 PATS. That's a huge difference. I wouldn't be surprised if Gostkowski leads the league in PATs again with probably the best offense in the league.

Leading the league in PATs isn't a big accomplishments when you have one of the highest scoring teams in NFL history. It's just a chip shot basically and rarely are PATs missed by kickers. To put it in perspective, he still would have lead the league in PATs if he missed 26% of those PATs.

I'm not saying it's a big accomplishment or anything..we are talking about fantasy football here. Those PATS add up and give you ton of FANTASY POINTS when it's all said and done.

Ohh true, my bad. I got carried away and started talking about being a top 5 kicker in the NFL.
