my friend told me about this in the afternoon and he was pretty excited because he is a bucs fan. i would rather see favre at the bucs aswell but ideally he would still be a packer.........

I find it funny that Favre didn't even want to go to Tampa or Jets (Eww..), but rather play for the Bears or Vikings...that didn't work out too well as Tampa really isn't a Super Bowl contending team. Imagine the duo of AP-Favre..oh the possibilities! Anyways it's going to be weird seeing Favre in another uniform. It's going to be interesting to see how Tampa does even though I don't believe they will make the playoffs regardless, they will probably be in the mix. I bet Bucs fan must be going crazy right about now. As a Bears fan, it's good to see Favre won't play against the Bears twice a season as he crushed them single handedly year in and year out.
Oh, and one more thing..something to mark on your and my calendar... Sun 9/28 Green Bay at Tampa Bay 1:00 pm Rodgers vs Favre.   Away-College

It's not official. However, it is official that Favre will no longer be a Packer. Pretty sure there's still bidding wars going on between the Jets and Buccaneers. Favre reportedly flew down to Tampa, but at the end of the day it's Green Bay's decision. Pretty sure he's going down south though.
And let me tell you this, he'll regret his decision in week one ;) |
