KC @ NE W

Projected Record:

STL @ NE W
NE @ IND L
BUF @ NE W
NYJ @ NE W
NE @ MIA W
PIT @ NE L
NE @ SEA L

ARI @ NE W
NE @ BUF L

I project the Patriots to go 11-5 without Brady

Just copy the schedule and take your picks on each game.

That looks like the easiest schedule in the nfl .. they will make the playoffs and then get knocked out first round.

Strenght of schedule - Patriots .387 - easiest schedule in the NFL so they do have a chance to post a good record

how do you think Cassell will do Oskar?

Isn't Matt Cassel the QB draft from USC in like the 6th or 7th round and he never once started a game at QB even though that was his primary position? There must be something good about him if you never play your actual position in college and still get drafted for that same position.

the Patriots definately have a shot at making the playoffs with the schedule they got but there are still plenty of tough games and ones that could go either way with Brady out. i hinestly wouldnt mind if Patriots won this season without Brady because it would really be a great story

their gonna be fine, they have 3 tough opponents on their, Colts, Chargers(maybe), Steelers, there for sure gonna lose to the steelers n colts, chargers ahh... maybe. Jets cud also give em a run, i say optimistically 14-2, realistically after watching the chiefs game... 11-5, u gotta blowout the chiefs no excuse their. They wont win the super bowl or get their, but they will make it deep into the play-offs. Its gonna be real tough on them, their veterans dont have much time, another year means their gonna get older and a bit slower n i wudnt be surprised if a lotta get them injured or retire by then. I also think people are a lil too high on buffalo, i mean i know they beat the seahawks, but the seahawks team was missing its top 2 WR, and that offense is already bad enough as it is.

I think the real key to the Patriots making the playoffs is if the Bills are real or not. If the Bills are for real like they showed this past Sunday, I can't see the Patriots topping the Jets or the Bills and then you still have to fight off the rest of the AFC looking for a wild card spot like the Browns, likely the Jags or Titans, maybe even the Broncos who looked great. Hell, it might even be the Chargers as the team looking for a wild card spot from that division.

I just realised I completely agreed with your post apart from the New England - Buffalo matchup in week 16. I think even if the Patriots QB is half decent, they will have a winning season. They've still got ALOT of talent, it's not like if they lose Brady, everyone crumbles. I think they will step it up since Brady is injured, and with a half decent QB, they will have a good year. I don't expect them winning the Superbowl though, just because of the inexperience in playoffs of Matt Cassel.

He'll be good. Not because of his own physical ability, but because Belicheck will be picking careful plays, Pats have a really good o-line and because he has a great WR core to throw to.

i think the pats will be ok without brady but the jets will take the division, farve knows how to win.

plus with the afc being as tough as it is i dont see the pats making it to the playoffs
