With the #1 Pick, the Detroit Lions select : Jason Smith OT, Baylor

this pick was pretty hard as i didnt see a standout player to pick at #1, Stafford will most likely be the guy who the Lions get in the draft but i like the idea of getting Bradford, McCoy or Tebow next year. Jason Smith is a very capable LT and the Lions definately need help on that o-line so i think this is a safe pick.

With the #2 overall pick in the 2009 draft, the St. Louis Rams select Eugene Monroe, OT, University of Virginia.
A team is built around the offensive and defensive line, the Rams addressed the defensive line in the past two years with two first round picks who were DLs, now it's time for the offensive line. Pace is getting older and very inconsistent.
A good LT is the single most important piece in winning.
My bad for taking a bit too long.
Kosovo Is Serbia
Bet with Thorsty - 500 points. Brady Vs. Manning - Better QB Rating.

With the 3rd overall pick, the Chiefs select Aaron Curry (Wake Forest, LB)

was very impresive at the combine and had a great season. The Chiefs had one of the worst run defences last year and with Curry's athleticism and skill, he will definately make an impact. I'll be looking out for the chiefs to spend some money in FA to get a d-linenmen. Ive seen in several mock draft where Chiefs would be taking a QB but i believe Thigpen did a terrific job with what he had and I can really see him being a much improved player in 09

With the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NFL entry draft, the Seattle Seahawks select...

Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech Seattle needs a potential replacement for Walter Jones, but with Eugene Monroe and Jason Smith off the board, they can't pass up Crabtree. A two time Biletnikoff winner, Michael Crabtree put up some of the best numbers by a receiver in recent memory the past two seasons. Although there is some questions surrounding his speed, he's the pick here. Seattle needs another receiving threat even if they bring in somebody through free agency.
With the fifth overall pick in the 2009 NFL entry draft, the Cleveland Browns select...

Everette Brown, DE/OLB, Florida State The Browns would prefer Aaron Curry here for his versatility, but with Willie McGinest's retirement looming, Cleveland needs a replacement at outside linebacker. Everette Brown would give Cleveland the speed rusher they need from the outside. He may be a reach at number five, but if Cleveland can't trade down, don't count him out. You could also make a case for Malcolm Jenkins here, but many feel he's better suited as a free safety in the NFL, and I'm not sure if the Browns would want to draft a safety this high.

With the 6th overall pick the Cincy Bengals select...
Andre Smith, OT
The bengals gave up 51 sacks last year, 3rd most in the league.
If you don't have a offensive line in this league than u are pretty much screwed, as evidenced by the Bengals points per game last season: 12.8 - which is easily dead last in the league.
Although there are clear character issues - suspension from Sugar Bowl, problems at the combine..He is the best OT left on the board and the Bengals shouldn't pass on the Outland Trophy winner from Alabama.

With the 7th pick the oakland Raiders select
WR, Jeremy Macklin, from Missouri
Obvious choice here, the Raiders NEED another playmaker, anyone Jamarcus Russell could pass too. Javon Walker straight up sucked. Jeremy Macklin is easily the second best WR in the draft.
Jeremy Macklin stats included:
102 Rec, 1,260 yds, and 13 tds
he ran a nice 40 with a 4.40.

With the eighth overall pick in the 2009 NFL entry draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select....
Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss
Height: 6-4
Weight: 309
40 Time: 5.19
Bench press: 21
Vertical jump: 30.5
20-yard shuttle: 4.60
Pros: Great potential, could be a Walter Jones, Orlando Pace type player, could take two or three years to develop into his full potential, very unlikely that he will get beat around the edge by a speed rusher due to his athletic ability, but also won't sacrifice size for athletic ability being 6-4 or 6-5 310+ pounds so he is difficult to bull rush, shows good overall ability to seal of an edge or get into the second level to help block a linebacker, opens up huge holes when asked and has a great character.
Cons: Won't be an instant force and could take two maybe three years to really blossom in the NFL.
Overall: Should be a great lineman in the NFL, has good work ethic and definitely warrants the first overall pick epeacislly for a team with a weak offensive line.

With the 9th overall pick, The Packers select B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College
Packers are changing to a 3-4 defence and having a versatile guy like Raji on that lineup will be great, he has good size and strength but is a little slow and hopefully he doesnt get too heavy which ive heard has happened during his college days

With the 10th overall pick the San Francisco 49ers select..
Matthew Stafford, QB Georgia
If Stafford fell this far than 49ers would not not pass on Stafford. He would be their QB of the future and it would move Shaun Hill to backup status which is what he should be. It would give new hope to a faltering franchise and it would give their fans a reason to believe in the future of this team.
