Nice thread, I'm sure this is bound to get some replies, and hopefully people are correct in their picks in the mock draft (especially mine!)

I really do hope Beanie Wells is signed by the Eagles. From what I've seen he seems like a great player to fit our system and of course with Brian Westbrook aging and Buckhalter moving to another team, we need to fill a spot at RB. Wells is just that and should be what we are looking for in our first pick. We don't need anymore lineman, seeing as we just signed one, so I think Reid needs to look for players to fill backup positions.

yeh i was thinking come draft time we would discuss picks and whatever he like we did last year, was pretty fun to see a new comment every 15 seconds:cute: so hopefully all the nfl peeps come in and talk about the picks.

Chris Wells has a lot of potential but he needs to grow a pair and toughen up a little. his main flaws are his durability, catching and blocking so hopefully while Westbrook is still a dominant player Wells will improve on these things a little. It will definately be a lethal duo if eagles do pick him up

This thread was heavily needed because otherwise, I would just be spitting out draft information wherever I felt like it.

Once again, I really don't think the Eagles are selecting Beanie Wells. Saying you don't want him because he's "240 pounds and can't catch" doesn't sound like a smokescreen to me. If you selected a runningback in round one, it's Knowshon Moreno. If not, there's a lot of good ones you can find in rounds two and three. Brandon Pettigrew will be BPA at 21. He's looking more and more like the pick and you guys should be thrilled.

that question pretty much answers itself lol

i really hope the packers dont just waste a pick like they did in 07 with Harrell and last year wasnt all too flash either with only Jordy Nelson making some sort of impact. Our needs are a little bigger now then last year so im hoping for the best.

Unless the Packers select a complete bust, they should be able to find a player that has some sort of impact. They're in an excellent position to select a good player for that new 3-4 defense.

Seahawks president Tim Ruskell expects RT Sean Locklear to be Walter Jones' successor at left tackle.

That was the plan when Locklear signed his extension, but he was disappointing in 2007 and beaten down by injuries in 2008. According to Ruskell, it's still the plan, which makes tackle an unlikely avenue for the No. 4 overall pick.

The Rams reportedly prefer Baylor OT Jason Smith to Virginia's Eugene Monroe.

Monroe is said to be sliding due to medical concerns about his knee. Of course, that report could be emanating from a team hoping Monroe will slip past the first five picks and fall right in their lap.
This is looking good for my mock draft as long as Aaron Curry doesn't get selected first overall. Now stay away from Sanchez and draft Crabtree Ruskell.
