But whether or not, you want to consider that as the best season ever is irrelevant, because, AGAIN, when Brady finally got an offense around him, he put up the best stats of any QB that season BY FAR. Brady w/o Moss and Welker was already putting up good regular season numbers while he was winning 3 Super Bowls, while Manning was known for being a choker in the postseason and his teams routinely lost to the eventual champions. Brady has been the superior player when it counts, the postseason, and Manning only has slightly better stats in the regular season, despite playing with a far superior offense for the majority of his career. Give me Brady over Manning all damn day. Not saying Manning sucks, but he's only been the 2nd best QB of the decade.

The completion percentage was barely higher. 1% is not a huge difference at all, and yeah he did throw for two less interceptions but look at both the positive and negative averages, if Peyton had as many attempts as Brady, I'd say that he'd still have that record.
I do consider it the best season ever, but it's not because the offense was 'stacked' it's because they chose to give him the greatest season ever by running up the score late in games and not stopping the passing attacks.
Brady will never touch Manning's stats, he won't even come close to touching them.
2nd best QB of the decade?
Brady's had 2 seasons with over 4,000 yards.
Manning's had 2 seasons with under 4,000 yards. That includes his rookie year.
Brady's had 1 season with over 30 TDs.
Manning's had 4 seasons with over 30 TDs.
Brady's 1 season with over 100 QB rating.
Manning's had 3 seasons with over 100 QB rating.
Brady's had 1 season with over 64% completion.
Manning's had 4 seasons under 64% completion. (his first 4 years - his next 7 were all over 65%, with the majority being over 66%.)
Manning's been league MVP 3 times
Brady's been league MVP once.
Brady has 2 Super Bowl MVPs (One of which he didn't deserve; come on, less than 200 yards gets you the MVP?)
Manning has 1 Super Bowl MVP.
Don't bring up Brady having 3 rings because last time I checked 1 person doesn't win you a championship. Hell, look at what Matt Cassel did last season with this team, he led them to a 10-6 record (by no means great, but still a capable job for someone who hadn't started since high school).
