Like TMac, there's nothing to appreciate. He's terrible but a lot of people around here still think he's good, but he's awful.

lol nice of you sikwitit. i really cant see browns making much noise this year as there's a lot of unhappy players there and theyve lost some good players this offseason aswell. On top of that they have a pretty tough schedule ahead of them and at best i can see them winning 5-6 games

Yeah I don't know what to expect from the Browns this year either, there players look good on paper. Jamal Lewis, Brady Quinn, Braylon Edwards, Sean Rogers, Josh Cribbs. There draft was pretty solid I like the pick-ups of Alex Mack and Brian Robiskie. I can see them going 7-9 or 8-8. Hopefully not 6-10, but I wish they would play like they did in 2007.

just read on nfl.com that stallworth is suspended for the 2009 season. I hope to see him back next season although who knows if the browns will keep him on the roster....im sure someone will take him

Dissapointed in our effort vs the Packers, Edwards still drops balls. Our defense sucks, Anderson blows. But it was only pre-season no need to worry. Good job by the boys in green though,

Stallworth is a bum, and he's going to stay because he signed a 7 year deal.

yeh browns put on a pretty average display, although it is only preseason but early indicators dont seem too flash in many positions.

what i meant with stallworth is whether or not he will be released by the browns, which could easily happen.

Browns sign RB Chris Jennings

Quote:
The Cleveland Browns today signed free agent running back Chris Jennings, the club announced. In addition, the team waived linebacker Phillip Hunt.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League in 2008, Jennings was waived on June 21, 2008 and resigned with the team following the 2008 season.

In two seasons at the University of Arizona (2006-07), Jennings rushed for 607 yards on 158 carries and four touchdowns, while notching 34 receptions for 262 receiving yards with one touchdown. He also attended Arizona Western University in 2005, where he rushed for 488 yards.

Great win by the Browns today vs the Lions. Derek Anderson looked great again, and I think he's in the lead for the QB race vs Quinn. Final score was 27-10. Great punt return for a td by Cribbs.
